下大雨常用"pour" : 倒水之動作；傾瀉
如： It's pouring buckets.

又" When it's rains, its pours."
表示很久沒出現之事，一出現就來勢洶洶

由來：18世紀英國，都市中排水系統不好，下大雨時時常淹水並淹死許多野生貓狗，人們看見後便如此說：剛剛下了好多貓狗喔

my 除了當「我」得所有格以外，還可以當感歎詞，表達出驚訝、開心或是驚慌沮喪。
