【Grammar Tip】

The Human Genome Project was an effort by a number of organizations to identify all 20,000 to 25,000 human genes.
→「人類基因組計畫」是很多機構共同努力的成果，目標是要辨識出所有兩萬至兩萬五千個人類基因。

此句使用句型： 某事物 + was an effort by ... to verb ...
"Subject + was an effort by + something + to verb"

當然此句也如以下表示，只是較平淡
